Our Work

PowerPAC.org is a social justice organization committed to building long-term political infrastructure for underrepresented communities. We play a unique role in offering infrastructure, strategy, and technical assistance to increase participation of the new American majority. Our work has brought about significant political changes that the new demographics promise but cannot deliver on its own.

Over the years, we have directed financial and human resources to strategic local and state legislative fights, ballot initiatives, and other campaigns by organizing people and donors who are committed to impactful social justice politics and change. Our methods to building political power include conducting research and analysis on the political landscape, identifying critical social justice issues to bring more voters – particularly voters of color – into the political process. Additionally, we identify priority areas for investment and help donors achieve maximum political impact with their political giving.

Our organization tackles racial and social injustice two ways. The first by implementing campaign strategies at the grassroots level to increase turnout and expand the voter universe in such a way that brings more wins. The second by changing campaign culture and strategy to complement the rising needs of the new majority.

PowerPAC believes that the most effective way to build political power for historically underrepresented constituencies is to invest in long-term political and infrastructure that can be mobilized for short-term and long-term victories.
